A Sailors Tale
This illustration is the beginning of a bigger series I am working on. The idea is to create Illustrations for my own craft beer. Part of the creative process is also animating the illustration for an interactive beer label. Below you can check out my animation progress of the "A Sailor's Tale" Illustration. Animation:
animation of the basic wave
the same motion in a different color
different shades and sizes of the basic animation are combined to form one big wave
the ocean itself: one big wave, multiplied and moving from left to right
The combination of all those elements looks already pretty promising and provides a good baseline to continue working on:

Below is the water animation combined with a first simple movement of the ships. Far from perfect but the idea is visible and I will build upon that.
